Hi again, I’m Yvette.

I’m the head of finance and operations P2 Ventures, formerly known as Polygon Ventures. My career has taken me from public accounting to banking and fintech at Grab, and eventually into the world of crypto at Dragonfly, a path that’s been anything but linear yet endlessly rewarding.

My transition into the blockchain space was serendipitous. What began as a curiosity about Bitcoin soon led me down the rabbit hole into the expansive world of DeFi. Like the famous line from the Eagles’ “Hotel California,” I quickly realized that “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!”. I didn’t, and I haven’t looked back since.

What keeps me here is a belief in freedom, autonomy, and the power of decentralization to reshape finance around those values. I love seeing traditional finance lean into blockchain technology, and it feels meaningful to play a small part in that evolution.

These days, I’m focused on helping Web3 teams get their finance and operations in order so they can grow with confidence. I enjoy helping founders build stronger foundations and want to do more of this work. If you’re building in this space and think I can help, I’d love to connect.

Outside of the day-to-day, I’m usually reading non-fiction or exploring ideas that challenge how I think. I get a lot of energy from curious people and good conversations. And when I’m not talking shop, you’ll probably find me at the gym. It’s how I reset and stay clear-headed.
