Hi again, I’m Yvette.
I’m the head of finance and operations at P2 Ventures (formerly Polygon Ventures). My path has taken me from public accounting to banking and fintech at Grab, then into crypto at Dragonfly. It has not been linear. It has been worth it.
What began as curiosity about Bitcoin became a long stay in DeFi and crypto markets. Like the line from Hotel California: you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. I didn’t. I haven’t looked back.
What keeps me here is a belief in freedom, autonomy, and the idea that better rails can reshape how finance works. Watching traditional finance lean into blockchain is that thesis playing out. Slowly and then suddenly.
Here I document practical experiments with AI agents on real operating work: what they can remove, where they fail, and where judgment still has to stay human.
Outside work I’m usually reading non-fiction or following ideas that change how I think. I get energy from curious people and good conversations. When I’m not talking shop, I’m often at the gym. That’s how I reset.
I’m still figuring a lot of this out in public. That’s intentional.
